Founded in 1833 and known colloquially as "the watchmaker of watchmakers" - the quality of Jaeger-LeCoultre is documented in their long history.

Being the sole provider of movements for brands like Patek-Phillipe (for more than 3 decades) and masters of ultra-thin and high-complications, they produce some of the finest examples of creative expression and complexity in horology to this day while still maintaining a classical sense of style and refinement.

The watch features a beautiful dial with applied tigers claw indices overtop a silver almost lacquered dial. This watch shows the hours and minutes and keeps accurate time. It winds smoothly and has a case, dial, and crystal in great condition. A few notes, the caseback appears to be unoriginal as with the crown. Additionally, the watch may require a new spacer-ring since there is a slight movement of the dial inside the case when setting the time and a small feeling of occasional shifting of the movement when the watch is being worn. However, the watch runs well and keeps a good power reserve suitable for a manufacture of this high quality.

Also included is velvet pouch for storage as well as a polishing cloth - both new and unused items.

As the watch sold here is a vintage second-hand item, it does not come with the original packaging or paperwork.

Asking price is $3000 CAD or best offer. All reasonable offers are welcome.
